We had a very comfortable stay and recommend it to anyone. We enjoyed the hotel, it was absolutely gorgeous and had beautiful location not far from the library, which has a fantastic collection reflecting the different owners over the years and the beach.

Charming stay with lovely vibes

We had a lovely 2 nights here, and the breakfast was amazing-just what we wanted! The gardens are so pretty and peaceful, perfect for walking. The house feels super authentic, really takes you back in time. Only thing was, the room was a bit small for our liking. A good experience!

While the private bathroom was quite large, it's located across the landing, which might be inconvenient for some. The staircase leading to the room is steep and could pose a challenge with mobility issues. We ran into a minor annoyance when we discovered the window was painted shut, limiting fresh air circulation.

The breakfast was great, they only use local products and it shows, everything tasted fresh and authentic. The hosts were really personable, giving us great tips on where to go while making us feel like we were part of the family. It's rare to find a place that cares like that.

Yeah, it wasn't the cheapest place around, but you get what you pay for.
